John S. Drew has been podcasting since 2004, long before it was called podcasting with a show called "Anything and Everything DREWSHI".  He made it more official with "The Chronic Rift" a podcast on po pculture that debutted in 2008.  Since then he has hosted a number of different podcasts (Presenting the Transcription Feature, The Brainy Brain Game Podcast, Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast).

With the success of Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast, John decided to take on the 60s Batman series.  He knew he was fond of the show, but in his discussions with others on the Internet, he found a great deal of disdain for the show.  What was wrong?  Was his love for the series some fuzzy, warm feeling of childhood and in reality, the show doesn't hold up?

 

Thus, the podcast was born.  Each episode John tries to find what it was he loved about the show and looks with his guests to see if it holds up today.  He acknowledges that the show had its faults, faults that ultimately led to its cancellation and the podcast will look into this as well.
